Our Vision

Tonbridge Health uses artificial intelligence to enable consumers to make informed, healthful food choices. Our aspiration is to change the way America eats.

Our Values

We aim to be steadfast to a core set of principles:

We are committed to evidence-based science. We apply the most recent, proven science to the assessment of the healthfulness of foods.

We are committed to providing an unbiased viewpoint, forged by science and independent of any given stakeholder’s interests.

We seek expertise and contributions from individuals of all backgrounds, regardless of their race, ethnicity, gender or identity.

We are committed to client success. We aim to innovate our service offerings to best support their needs and aspirations.

We are committed to the highest standards of performance and integrity in our personal conduct and to operate ethically and transparently with all stakeholders.

Wellness and Safety

Tonbridge Health is committed to supporting our stakeholders’ well-being and safety while they are at work and in their personal lives.

Respecting Human Rights

We are committed to a work environment where human rights are upheld, harassment and discrimination are not tolerated, and diversity and inclusion are fostered and supported. This commitment is shaped by our vision and core values where we strive to help shape a healthier future for all.

Diversity, Equity and Inclusion

We incorporate diversity, equity and inclusion principles into how we operate. As examples:

  • We expect to have a disproportionate impact on disadvantaged communities given the lack of practical information on how to eat healthily among many of these groups.
  • The doctors and dietitians on our clinical advisory board have a strong commitment to DEI principles, routinely undergoing diversity, equity and inclusion training and putting the principles to work in their daily lives. Women are in the majority on our clinical advisory board.
  • The organizations we partner with share a strong commitment to DEI principles and teams we have formed together have included minorities.

Environmental Responsibility

We are committed to fostering healthier lives and supporting a more sustainable future.

As a technology services firm, we do not manufacture or distribute products or generate hazardous wastes or wastewater. And as a small business today, we do not generate meaningful emissions or consume much energy ourselves. Yet, climate impacts related to our use of third party data centers do impact our environment.

Our primary datastore resides in Google Cloud Services (GCS). GCS has been carbon neutral since 2007 and has committed to operating on 100% carbon-free energy 24/7 by 2030.

Our secondary datastore resides in Amazon Web Services (AWS). AWS is on a path to power its operations and data centers with 100% renewable energy by 2025 and is committed to reaching net-zero carbon emissions by 2040.
